The Story on Ghost Perfume
Ghost Perfume is a fragrance produced by Tanya Sarne, a businesswoman born in France and currently residing in London. After several attempted and semi-successful ventures, including a business selling Peruvian alpaca knitwear and a sportswear line called MIZ, she met Katharine Hamnett in 1985, and changed her company name to Ghost, allegedly so named because, according to Hamnett, the start-up didn’t “stand a ghost of a chance.”
